How We Met

We heard from Caroline & Stone in June of 2022. They came to us from one of our couples, Jordan and Alec Whitley, who had just gotten married in May at Barn South. We are always so happy when a Marmaros Couple recommends us to their friends! We met with Caroline & Stone and were so excited to have them join our family!

Love Story

Caroline & Stone began dating when they were in high school! The couple stayed together during the college years as they went off to different places, and now they both found their way back to Atlanta! When you hear the couple talk about their relationship, they mention that they knew that they were going to get married even early on in their relationship and how they were so thankful that they were able to grow together over the years.

Down to Business

Not only were Caroline & Stone involved throughout the entire process, so were Caroline’s parents! Most Zoom meetings included all four of them, and you could tell how excited Caroline’s parents were to bring Caroline & Stone together. Caroline had such a strong vision for the wedding day because she is an interior designer!

During the walkthrough at the Biltmore Ballrooms, Caroline, Stone, the Mazziotti’s and all of the vendors were able to sit down and discuss the vision in greater detail. You could tell how much care both Caroline and her mom were putting into the day as they asked questions about each aspect of the day. It was so fun to see all of the pieces come together!

The Big Day

Caroline & Stone wanted to not see each other until the ceremony, so we spent the morning making sure we got all of the pictures we could before the ceremony! Stone and his groomsmen arrived at the Cathedral of Christ the King to get their portraits done by Heather Crouse Photography. After Stone went back to his AirBnB to spend time with his groomsmen, Caroline and her bridesmaids arrived. They had spent the morning getting ready at the Mazziotti home with B.Wild Makeup. It was a cold and windy day, but the skies were blue and the pictures turned out amazing. During the pictures, Chandler from Marmaros went over to the Biltmore Ballrooms to oversee setup with Bold Catering & Design and the band, Party Nation.

The bridal party got tucked away to relax before the ceremony, and then it was time to get Caroline & Stone married! The ceremony was held in the Cathedral of Christ the King, which is also where Caroline’s parents were married. Even the Bishop who officiated the ceremony was the bishop who married the Mazziotti’s! After the ceremony, full bridal party pictures were taken, including a recreated photo from the Mazziotti’s ceremony. Then, the bridal party loaded into a shuttle to make their way to the reception in the Georgian Ballroom at the Biltmore Ballrooms!

When the bridal party arrived, the cocktail hour at the Biltmore Ballrooms was in full swing. Caroline & Stone took the time to have a private moment to get in some yummy food by Bold Catering and sneak a peek at the ballroom all done up by Bold Design. Caroline really leaned into the colors of the ballroom in her vision, accenting the space with blue and white details, including a gorgeous blue cake from The Frosted Pumpkin. Each table included beautiful orchids in gold pots.

Once the couple was introduced and had their first dance, it was time to enjoy food from Bold Catering and hear some beautiful, heartfelt speeches from the best man (Stone’s dad, Tee) and the maid of honor (Caroline’s sister, Mary Elizabeth). Then it was time to get the party started! Party Nation played live music for hours as everyone hit the dance floor with glow sticks.

Then it was time to leave! Caroline & Stone had a great send-off with streamer pops- there were so many streamers from all of their loved ones sending them off that they got tangled on their way to their getaway car from Classic Elegance Cars, but it made for the best pictures!

Something Spectacular

Caroline’s parents and grandparents got married at the Cathedral of Christ the King, so Caroline & Stone were able to recreate some of the photos that their family members had also taken. They also got a picture of all three generations in the place they got married! What an incredible legacy and history that this cathedral holds for this family!

Happily Ever After

Caroline & Stone are such a sweet couple and seeing them become husband and wife was such an honor! Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Bridges!
