How We Met

In September of 2024, we had an email in our inbox from Tori and Falkner looking for a planner for their May 2025 wedding. They had found us through a friend of theirs and we were so happy to hear from them! We hopped on a call with them where we told them all about Marmaros and what it is we do and shortly after that call we had another May wedding on the calendar and we were so excited to start working on planning Tori and Falkner’s big day!

Love Story

Tori and Falkner met four and a half years ago at a mutual friend’s going-away party. Falkner told the host he was studying for the bar, and was told in response that Tori had "just taken" the bar. Tori couldn’t run over fast enough to correct the record - she had taken the LSAT. The pair chatted all night, Falkner convinced her not to become a lawyer, and they set up for their first date. After Tori's cat tolerated Falkner, and no one else, she knew he was the one. Less than a year later, they bought their house together in Old Forth Ward. Tori and Falkner's family has grown now to include their turtle Tank and cat Hattie.

Down to Business

We got straight to business and met with Tori and Falkner as soon as possible to hear all about their plans for their wedding day! We met virtually and were joined by both Tori and Falkner in every meeting. We nailed down details like floor plan and timeline prior to when Tori and Falkner met with their caterer Bold Catering & Design to solidify plans and details with them. All of the I’s were dotted and the T’s crossed, so the next thing in the planning process was the rehearsal for the big day! On the Friday before wedding day, Breanna met Tori, Falkner, and their wedding party at Biltmore Ballrooms and helped them practice walking for the ceremony. The excitement was in the air and you could just feel how excited everyone was for the wedding day the next day!

The Big Day

It was Tori and Falkner’s wedding day!!! The ladies started their day at the Hotel Clermont where they spent the morning hanging out, munching on Publix subs, and getting their hair and makeup done by Bridal Beauty Authority. Meanwhile at the venue, the Biltmore Ballrooms, vendors started to load in and set up for the day. The wedding party arrived at the venue and headed downstairs to their respective suites. Tori stepped into her STUNNING dress from Kleinfeld and the ladies were looking beautiful as ever in their dresses from The Dessy Group. Next, Emily Woodruff, their photographer, captured Tori and Falkner’s first look followed by as many wedding party and family photos as possible.

After photos wrapped, we had the wedding party rest (and hydrate) for a bit as guests started to trickle in and find their seats for the ceremony. Bridgerton style music was playing as guests took their seats and once everyone was settled we were ready to close the curtains and get the processional started! Falkner and the officiant, Mike, headed down the aisle to a beautiful Max Ritcher song and the energy in the room just completely shifted. They were followed by parents and the wedding party. Little ones are always unpredictable when it comes to walking down the aisle, but their ring bearer stole the show when he perfectly walked down the aisle. The curtains closed again and then Tori and her dad made their way down the aisle. Mike led a personal and intimate ceremony and at the end Tori and Falkner’s  love was sealed with a kiss!

After the ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour where they enjoyed drinks from Biltmore Ballrooms and appetizers from Bold Catering. Emily knocked out some more photos while cocktail hour was in full swing and the other vendors worked on flipping the room. Room flips are hard work, but always lead to the most incredible transformations. When we started the reception, we had a slew of introductions which got the guests excited for the introduction of our newlyweds! Tori and Falkner shared their first dance to Slow Dancing by Aly and AJ followed by giving a speech thanking their guests coming to celebrate them and their love. The covers were lifted on the buffet by Bold and guests enjoyed a lovely dinner. After dinner, Tori and Falkner cut their cake then made their way to the dance floor for a father daughter dance and a mother son dance. When the formal dances were completed, guests made their way to the dance floor and danced the night away. After a few hours of partying to the tunes that One Night Entertainment was playing, the final song, Dancing Queen played for the guests. While we got the guests lined up for the send off, Tori and Falkner reveled in the day by sharing a private last dance together to At Last by Etta James. Petals were thrown in celebration of Tori and Falkner’s love and they ran through before hopping in the car and driving off into the night. Their day was truly an incredible day!

Something Spectacular

Obviously every bride is incredibly stunning, and Tori was truly that! The Biltmore Ballrooms are such a stunning venue that is stuck in an era in time in the best way possible. The Biltmore Ballrooms are ornate and intricate while also being timeless and classy and that is exactly how we could describe Tori’s bridal look. Tori’s dress looked like it was made for her. From the unique cut and shape to the pearl details, it might’ve been one of the prettiest dresses we’ve ever seen. Add her dramatic pearl veil and our jaws were on the floor. The shape of her veil looked vintage like the ballrooms, but it also had the modern touch of the pearls. Tori’s full look completely complimented the beauty of the Biltmore Ballrooms, in a classic and timeless but also modern way.

Happily Ever After

We were so honored to play a small part in Tori and Falkner’s big day! We couldn’t be happier for the two of them and wish them nothing but the best. Congrats to the newlyweds!
