How We Met

In July, Ansley and Andrew were looking for a wedding planner and reached out to Marmaros! They found us through a connection from another venue that we’ve worked at. We hopped on a call with them and went over all it is that we do here at Marmaros Productions. Shortly after that call, we had a April wedding on our calendar and were so excited to go back to Country Club of the South for Ansley and Andrew’s big day!

Down to Business

Once we were confirmed for Ansley and Andrew’s wedding day, we got straight to business and set up our first call with them. We met virtually throughout the planning process to accommodate everybody's schedules. Both Ansley and Andrew always joined the meetings ready to knock things off the list and also brainstorm ideas of how to make their wedding unique to them! In February, we all met up at Country Club of the South for a walkthrough and tasting. I think that day is when things really started to feel real for Ansley and Andrew! With their menu selected and floor plan solidified, the next thing on the list was to rehearse for the big day! We had a few more calls between the walkthrough and wedding day, and in every one you could tell we were all just anxiously awaiting for April to roll around! Finally, it was April 24th, the day before the wedding, and we reconvened at Country Club of the South. We practiced the ceremony with Ansley, Andrew and all of their loved ones before they headed over to the Avalon for rehearsal dinner. We were so excited that the next day was the wedding day!

The Big Day

The big day was finally here - it was Ansley and Andrew’s wedding day! The ladies started the day in the Country Club of the South Villa getting hair and makeup done by Nicole Chatham. Later in the afternoon, other vendors started to arrive. We arrived and started to set up the decor that Ansley and Andrew had brought, and Melissa of MC Floral Studio had started to place the stunning floral arrangements that she made. Katie of Be Light Photography and Andrew of Prophetic Film House arrived and started to capture some details of the day along with getting ready. Ansley got into her dress from J. Andrews Bridal and then did a first look with her bridesmaids, her dad, and lastly her groom, Andrew! We knocked out a few more photos before everyone got tucked away and took a break before it was time for the ceremony.

Guests arrived and took their seats, and before we knew it, we were sending Ansley and Andrew down the aisle to say their “I Do’s”. Their good friend, Tyler, led a meaningful and personalized ceremony before Ansley and Andrew walked hand in hand back down the aisle to Ray La Montagne’s “You Are The Best Thing” as husband and wife! Cocktail hour began, and guests enjoyed delicious appetizers and drinks from Country Club of the South while we knocked out family photos and couple portraits.

After we got all the necessary shots, we invited guests to find their seats so that we could get reception started. The wedding party hyped the crowd up for Ansley and Andrew to be introduced for their first time before going into their sweet first dance. We heard a welcome speech from our couple, then a blessing from Ansley’s grandfather before we had dinner. After dinner, Ansley and Andrew cut the cake which was made by Ansley’s aunt and then we heard toasts from their people of honor. Next, we saw the couple dance with their parents before opening up the dance floor to everybody. Darius, their DJ from Dasz Musiq Group, got the party going and kept the guests entertained all night long! At the end of the night, we did a bubble send off. Overall, Ansley and Andrew had such a lovely wedding day!

Something Spectacular

So many of us have a fur baby at home that unfortunately cannot be a part of big moments in our lives, but that was not the case for Ansley and Andrew! These two brought their sweet pup, Georgia, to their wedding and had her incorporated throughout the day. From wedding photos, to cocktail napkins, to even a cameo on the dance floor, Georgia was very much a part of their big day. We absolutely loved this furry little guest!

Happily Ever After

Congratulations you two! We couldn’t be happier for the both of you and wish you nothing but the best. Please tell Georgia she’s a good girl & give her extra pets from the Marmaros team!
