Marilyn & Alex

11.1.2019 | Koury Farms

How We Met

Since Marilyn lived so close to us, we met up a few times at Starbucks or Chick-fil-A to talk about her day and get to know her better before she & Alex tied the knot. Marilyn was so on top of all of our documents & organized to make sure we knew everything we needed to know to make the day run smoothly! We did a walk-through of the space a few weeks before wedding week!

Down to Business

Since Marilyn lived so close to us, we met up a few times at Starbucks or Chick-fil-A to talk about her day and get to know her better before she & Alex tied the knot. Marilyn was so on top of all of our documents & organized to make sure we knew everything we needed to know to make the day run smoothly!

The Big Day

The night before the wedding, Marilyn & Alex’s family laid out most of the decor and how they wanted everything for wedding day. So the morning of the wedding was fairly simple. Marilyn bought floating candle vases but wanted babies breath in them for a different look on the long tables. The florist, Design House Wedding & Events, came with all the personals (like bouquets & boutineers), greenery for the mantle and sweetheart table, florals for the ceremony arch, and flowers for the cake. Marilyn & her girls were getting ready at the Hampton Inn a few miles away where Make Me Up GA did a fabulous job on the girl’s hair and makeup! Vendors started to arrive with the cake, food, bartending supplies, and DJ equipment as we got closer to the ceremony time. Alex & his groomsmen arrived at the ceremony space shortly before Marilyn & her bridesmaids did. Since we weren’t doing a first look - each group had to stay tucked away in their suites!

Excited energy filled the air as we lined up to begin the ceremony! One of our favorite moments of any wedding day is watching the groom see the love of his life walking toward him and Alex didn’t disappoint with the emotion he showed! After a touching ceremony complete with personal vows, these two were so happy to be married they danced out of the pavilion! After the ceremony, family and bridal party photos were taken before moving on to photos of Marilyn & Alex. Rachel Dalland Photography captured their love so effortlessly as they walked through the vineyard!

When photos were done, we lined up outside for introductions where each couple had their own song to dance into! Once Marilyn & Alex were introduced, they went into their sweet first dance. Alex’s mom welcomed everyone and Alex’s grandma blessed the food so we could start going through the taco bar! Rachel snuck Marilyn & Alex away for Golden Hour Photos (which turned out to be so stunning) before we cut the cake from Baking Grounds, did toasts, & parent dances before opening up the dance floor. and let us tell you - these friends knew how to party! The dance floor was packed all night whether it was line dancing, salsa dancing, or slow dancing. When the night had come to an end, no one wanted to leave (including us!) but with the promise of sparklers we all lined up to send off Marilyn & Alex into their Happily Ever After!

Something Spectacular

The Money Dance is a tradition at weddings where guests pin money on the Bride & Groom in order to dance with them. Even though the Money Dance isn’t uncommon at weddings, Marilyn & Alex’s was a spectacular part of their day because their guests we lined up the whole length of the reception space waiting their turn to dance with the Bride or Groom. Alex’s suit was covered in dollar bills and it took a few minutes to make sure Marilyn & Alex didn’t have pins attached to them! It was so special to see how their guests were each wanting a personal moment with Marilyn & Alex!

Raving Reviews

"When I started planning my wedding the last thing I was thinking about was having a wedding coordinator. As months continue to pass by and my wedding day got closer my MIL insisted I get a wedding coordinator. I kept telling myself that I had everything down and I didn't need one but boy was I wrong... Marmaros Production was the best decision I made throughout my whole wedding planning process. I worked mostly with Megan. Not only is she extremely friendly but she is organized and was always thinking five steps ahead. She asked me questions that I had not even asked myself. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond with everything. Megan communicated with me frequently and would email me google documents to help me stay organized as well. Our rehearsal day also went smoothly thanks to Megan! If you want your wedding day to run smoothly and stress-free I highly recommend Marmaros Production!"

Happily Ever After

We loved getting to know Marilyn & Alex though their wedding process! You can tell their love for each other extends farther than their wedding and we can’t wait to see where life takes them in this new chapter of their lives! Congratulations Marilyn & Alex!
