Kelly & Vincent

3.31.2023 | Barn South

How We Met

Kelly & Megan grew up going to church together, so when it was time for Kelly to get a wedding coordinator, she knew exactly who to call! They set up a call with one another where Kelly told us her wedding vision and Megan explained all things Marmaros. Since Megan knew she would be on maternity leave at the time of Kelly's wedding, she introduced Kelly to Sarah who would be her planner and the two of them were so excited to get started on planning!

Love Story

Kelly and Vincent met in April of 2017. Vincent was working for the Gladiators at the time, and the team was having a post-game party after the final game of the season, and that's when Kelly decided she was going to go talk to Vincent for the very first time. She worked up the courage to finally go up and talk to him. They talked the entire post-game party. When it came time to leave, Kelly decided that she didn't want to stop talking to Vincent, so she asked for his Snapchat not knowing that was his preferred method of communication. They went their separate ways that night and although they chatted often, they did not see each other for over 2 years.

On June 19, 2019, Vincent and Kelly went on their first date. They started off mini-golfing at the local mall. Once they finished their 36 holes of mini-golf, they decided that they were not ready to say goodbye, so they walked around the mall for another 2 hours. 6 o'clock rolled around and that was Kelly's dinner time, so she asked Vincent if he wanted he wanted to get dinner. They ended up going to Frontera for Mexican, and they sat in their booth until 9 o'clock when they decided that they should probably leave the restaurant after being there for 3 hours. Yet again, they weren't ready to say goodbye, so they sat in the car talking for another 2 hours. They finally said goodbye to one another. From that day on, there was no doubt in their minds that they wanted to spend any free time they had with each other.

Over the next two years, they made countless memories with one another. They have laughed together, cried together, lived through a pandemic together, watched countless hours of tv and sports together, cheered each other on through the good times and the bad, and most importantly loved each other fearlessly.

They have always known that they were meant to be, and on April 23, 2022, Vincent asked Kelly to marry him. There's no telling where life will take them, or what the journey has in store for them in the future, but there is one thing for sure, their love is everlasting.

Down to Business

Kelly and Sarah had their first meeting via Zoom where they hit it off just getting to know one another. Sarah soon found out that Kelly was a fellow Disney-lover and loved how Kelly incorporated that love into the day in subtle ways. Vincent was always present in the background, but always had a general go-with-the-flow attitude, which allowed Kelly to steer the vision!

Kelly & Sarah finally met in person at the 30-day walkthrough at Barn South. Kelly really wanted to lean into the natural beauty of the barn and chose to accent it with white table accents and candles. All of this was done with the help of Events by Dezine!

The Big Day

Marmaros arrived on-site to greet the bride and her bridesmaids as they were wrapping up hair & makeup with Formal Faces. While Carley Brook Photography and Palmetto Films grabbed detail shots and some pictures of the bridesmaids getting ready, Marmaros set up the ceremony and reception area with floating candles and decor brought by the bride. Events by Dezine arrived to set up florals, set table settings, get the music going, and make sure everyone was fed! They even provided a beautiful three-tiered wedding cake that was absolutely delicious.

Before we knew it, it was time for Kelly to step into her dress from Bel Fiore and have a first look with her people. We started with a first look with her bridesmaids, followed by a first look with her father, stepfather, brother-in-law, and grandfather. Then, it was finally time to have a first look with her groom!

During their first look, Kelly and Vincent shared their private vows to one another, keeping the moment sacred with one another rather than sharing personal vows in front of all of the guests. After the couple exchanged their vows, Carley Brooke Photography got all of the couples portraits and pictures with the bridal party. The groomsmen really had a fun time with their session, at one point making a human pyramid for a photo.

After photos, Kelly & Vincent and their crew snuck off to the bridal suite to relax before the ceremony. Once everyone arrived, we got the couple married! Kelly walked down the aisle with both of her dads – her father and stepfather to a song from the Disney movie, Tangled, a nod to Kelly’s love of Disney! After the ceremony, Kelly and Vincent got their “Just Married” pictures, including a recreation of the "Love Story" music video to be included in the wedding video.

After the cocktail hour, the bride and groom were announced and shared their first dance. After the formal dances, Kelly changed into her “comfies,” which was an amazing white sweat suit bearing her new last name. The guests enjoyed delicious food from Events by Dezine before the dance floor opened up for everyone to boogie. At the end of the night, Kelly & Vincent made their getaway under a tunnel of sparklers held by their loved ones!

Something Spectacular

Kelly & Vincent kept their personal vows private by sharing them during their first look. It was a great way to share their love for each other prior to their ceremony.

Raving Reviews

"Honestly there aren't words to describe how truly amazing the Marmaros team was. Our coordinator was Sarah and she was absolute perfection!!! She took a fantastic career of us leading up to the wedding with monthly check-ins and messages.

She was a LIFESAVER on the day of! Sarah kept me calm and reassured me that everything would be okay and that things are flexible and able to be moved around when I was stressing out. She was truly the best person to have on my wedding team.

They helped with all the pre-planning. They give you worksheets to help you pick everything you need to do, and they step in and coordinate with all of your vendors as it gets closer so the you don't have to.

I seriously can't recommend Marmaros enough!! Stop looking for a coordinator and just hire the team!!!"

Happily Ever After

Kelly & Vincent are such a sweet, laid-back couple, and we are so honored to have been a small part of their big day. We wish them a lifetime of happiness. Cheers to the Gazzos!
