How We Met

The first time we heard from Jessica & Tebarek, they reached out to us thanks to Yo from Grapefruit Photo! We love working with Yo and we were so happy she recommended us! Jessica & Tebarek had a date in mind but didn’t have a venue secured yet. So we did a discovery call to talk more about what we will be doing together in the next year of planning and before we knew it, Jessica & Tebarek were booked with us!

Down to Business

Our goal was to meet every month or so with Jessica & Tebarek to make sure that they were staying on track with planning and hiring vendors. Once we established that they wanted to get married at The Biltmore Ballrooms and we had a date, we started diving deep into vendors and hiring the A team that would make their wedding day the best day ever! Jessica & Tebarek lived right down the road from Megan so all of our meetings took place in our local downtown area where we could talk through everything and eat some great food too!

The Big Day

On wedding day, Jessica & her ladies started getting ready early in the morning at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center. The Be’terie began hair and makeup on all the ladies. Tebarek & the groomsmen were to meet at Jessica & Tebarek’s house dressed and ready for the day and await as Atlanta Exotic Rentals picked them up to take them to Tebarek’s parent’s house for the wedding blessing.

Grapefruit Photo and Imagine Video Productions arrived at the hotel to capture detail photos while the ladies finished getting ready. Tebarek & the guys arrived at The Biltmore Ballrooms ready for photos with Grapefruit Photo & Imagine Video Productions second shooters. When we got the call that Jessica & her ladies were on their way, we escorted the guys into the ballroom so Jessica & Tebarek didn’t see each other before their first look! In the meantime, Lineage Florals and One Night Entertainment arrived and began getting ready for the day!

Jessica stepped off the sprinter bus looking SO PERFECT! We loved her dress from Sweet Elegance Bridal and how the bridesmaid dresses looked so great on them as well. We went straight into first look with Jessica’s dad (where lots of tears were shed) before moving outside to do a first look between Jessica & Tebarek. We love watching our couple see each other for the first time! Our beautiful couple got their photos together outside before we brought out the wedding party and family for photos. Soon, Carlton’s Cakes arrived with a gorgeous cake and yummy-looking cupcakes and set up their table while Bold arrived and began getting the food ready and laying out tablecloths. Things were in full swing!

Soon, it was time to hide everyone away as guests began to arrive! The ceremony site was STUNNING and we were blown away by not only the natural beauty of the space but also the florals that Lineage Florals installed! Guests were invited to find their seats as the clock ticked closer to the start of the ceremony. We lined up all the wedding parties and family members and started the processional!

We loved seeing the reaction from Tebarek as his soon-to-be wife came down the aisle toward him! The ceremony was so sweet and perfect. Melinda the Officiant did such a fantastic job highlighting the sweet way Jessica & Tebarek love each other. It was finally time to pronounce them husband and wife, Jessica & Tebarek kissed and made their way down the aisle! We were so happy for our newlyweds!

The guests were invited to a cocktail hour in the secondary ballroom while we got family photos and flipped the ceremony space to include more tables for guests. Once all the vendors were ready, we asked guests to find their seats before starting introductions with the parents of both the bride & groom, the wedding party, and ending with our perfect newlyweds! As they entered the ballroom, Jessica & Tebarek hugged and kissed both sets of parents before going into their first dance. And One Night Entertainment had some magic up their sleeves! Jessica & Tebarek ended their dance by “dancing on clouds” and fireworks which made their dance that much more special! We heard a welcome from Jessica’s Parents before food stations were opened and guests were invited to venture around and grab dinner!

Once everyone had grabbed dinner, Jessica & Tebarek walked around to chat with their guests before we cut the perfect cake and heard toasts from many of the people who love Jessica & Tebarek. The last thing we needed to do before opening the dance floor was dance with each set of parents - a sweet moment for sure. Next, One Night Entertainment really lit up the night and the guests danced ALL NIGHT LONG! Chickadee Photo Booth had a beautiful setup ready for fun photos as well which made the reception so much fun! After a few hours of dancing, we lined up for a bubble send-off where we said goodbye to our newlyweds!

Something Spectacular

One thing we loved about Jessica & Tebarek’s wedding day really was more tailored to Tebarek. He rented a beautiful Rolls Royce Ghost for the day where he really got to feel like a king everywhere he went. Grapefruit Photo got some fabulous night photos as well! It was such a special way to be driven around on your wedding day!

Happily Ever After

A whole year of working with Jessica & Tebarek and we loved every minute of it! These two brought so much joy to the year and to their wedding day and we know their marriage will continue to bring joy to everyone they meet. We wish them the best of luck as they start their lives together. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Geresu!
