How We Met

In April, Drew’s sister Rachel, reached out to Megan on Instagram asking if we were available to coordinate her sister’s wedding in October. Megan & Rachel had met in college and were very close their freshman year and Drew came to visit a few times. We knew this family was so sweet and working with them was going to be so easy! Drew didn’t even need a Discovery Call - they booked us and we were ready to start learning all the things they had planned for their wedding day!

Down to Business

The planning process was very easy! We met on Google Meets a few times and sent information back and forth before doing a walkthrough at 2400 on the River to talk logistics and figure out the floor plan. Before we knew it, it was wedding week and we were making sure all the final details were in place and rehearsing for the wedding day!

The Big Day

On wedding day, we arrived at 2400 on the River and went straight to the greenhouse where Drew & her ladies were getting ready! Hanna Dean had completed makeup and Ramsey from PAINT. The Beauty Bungalow was working on the last few ladies that needed to get their hair done. The girls had music bumpin’ and were eating their Chick-fil-A nuggets and just relaxing! We made our way down to the reception space to start unloading our rentals and laying linen out on the tables while Laura Janes Flowers was putting the finishing touches on the reception spaces before heading out to the ceremony site to attach very pretty flowers to the gazebo. Branson Gowens, our DJ and Videographer, arrived early to set up his tables and equipment for the ceremony and reception and begin getting footage of the venue for the video. After we had set everything up, Will and the groomsmen began to arrive, so we started to get them pinned with boutonnieres and ready for photos.

Not too long after, Chris & Kim from Chris Hardin Photography arrived and began getting detail shots and getting ready shots of the ladies before giving them the okay to begin getting their dresses on! Next, Chris moved on to the groomsmen to get their getting ready shots and group shots. We went up to make sure the girls were ready for photos and Drew was in her dress. She was absolutely stunning! The golf cart came to get the ladies and we moved into first look with Drew & Will. Some of our favorite moments on wedding day is when a groom sees his bride for the first time and we get to see how they react. Will got the wind knocked out of him and then gave Drew the biggest hug! We were moving along quickly at this point with couple photos and full bridal party photos before giving everyone a break from the heat inside as we awaited ceremony time!

Guests began arriving and filling up the ceremony seats. Before we knew it, we were ready to start the ceremony! We lined up the family and bridal party and began the processional. After a beautiful ceremony under the gazebo, Drew & Will were finally married and they were so happy! We escorted the guests to cocktail hour on the front porch while family photos were getting finished. As the sun began to dip down in the sky, Chris got some amazing photos of the couple with the sunset behind them overlooking the river! Guests were invited in to find a seat as we lined up for introductions!

After the whole crowd was on their feet, Drew & Will were announced as the new Mr & Mrs for the second time to their guests! We heard a welcome and a blessing before opening the buffet. Vickie’s Country Kitchen was ready to serve all the guests! After everyone had a chance to go through the buffet, Drew & Will cut the cake that Publix did an amazing job on, along with eating a donut! Next, we did the first dance and both parent dances before Branson Gowens opened up the dance floor! This group knew how to party all night long and Rhonda McDowell, the bartender of the night, kept them from getting thirsty! We did a bouquet and garter toss before asking all the guests to line up in the garden for send-off! We lit the sparkers and sent Drew & Will away under beautiful lights and into a classic Rolls Royce! A perfect ending to a perfect night!

Something Spectacular

2400 on the River has a perfect setup for any couple who wants to dance outside in the open air and Drew & Will knew how to take advantage of all the space the venue had to offer. After dinner, guests were invited outside to dance under the pavilion and string lights. This really added a magical atmosphere to Drew & Will’s wedding day and gave everyone plenty of space to spread out and feel comfortable! It was such a fun night!

Happily Ever After

Working with Drew, Will, and their families throughout the planning process was nothing short of a great time! Everyone was so respectful of all the vendors and their time which made working with them a wonderful experience. We are so happy we were brought together to do their wedding and we know great things will happen for them in this next chapter of their lives! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Parsegian!
