How We Met

Asia found us on Instagram in July as she was starting to wrap up her initial phases of wedding planning. With a new baby and being the first to get married in her family, she knew that they needed help! In our discovery call, we got to meet their sweet baby, Jamie, as Asia expressed her concerns for her wedding day. A few days later, Asia & Lamar had booked with us and we were ready to begin planning their perfect day at The Westside Warehouse!

Down to Business

With their wedding right around the corner, we began meeting right away and monthly to make sure everything got completed! Our meetings were always productive and full of laughs. Asia, Lamar, Jamie, and Yolanda (Asia's mother) always met us with questions and a to-do list ready for tasks! We met at The Westside Warehouse for a final walkthrough and to talk details before rehearsing the week of and ready to go for the wedding!

The Big Day

On wedding day, we arrived at The Westside Warehouse to a mostly completed room! Asia, Lamar, Yolanda, and their families had been working so hard all morning to bring Asia’s vision to life! The ceremony space was so stunning and inviting with warm amber lights and tons of candles along with the chairs rented from Milieu Decor completing the space. The antique doors blocked off the reception space where all the tables were decorated for the flip. Jae Clo & Maya were in the bridal suite prepping the ladies' hair and makeup for the day!

The flowers arrived from Delane and DJ Nard arrived to begin setting up for the day. Soon Cxllab Productions showed up to do photography and videography for the day to begin getting detail shots. We were putting the final touches on the room when Lamar and his groomsmen arrived looking dapper as ever! Cantrell Occasions arrived and began unloading the food for cocktail hour and dinner and it was starting to smell so good!

Guests began to arrive and since Asia & Lamar wanted to keep all their guests safe, everyone was required to take a PCR Test and send the results to the hosts so they can be let into the venue. Once guests were checked in and received a wristband they found their seats while Asia stepped into her dress and got ready to walk down the aisle! To say she looked stunning is a total understatement! Her dress was perfect and her old Hollywood hairstyle only enhanced her natural beauty! We knew that Lamar was going to lose it as she walked down the aisle!

Once we had all the family lined up and ready to go we started the ceremony and began Asia & Lamar’s newest chapter! The ceremony was so sweet! Their cousin Matthew married them and it was complete with vows with insight into their relationship over the past 10 years. We loved watching these two interact for the first time as husband and wife as they left their ceremony full of smiles and joy! Guests were invited to the outside ceremony space where charcuterie cups and drinks were waiting for them. Asia & Lamar went out to take photos before they took a few family photos while we flipped the room. Guests were invited back inside to find their seats before we introduced the bridal party - and let’s talk about how ADORABLE Jamie was in his remote control car! He set the tone for the rest of the evening as the wedding party came out in sunglasses and ready to party before Asia & Lamar were introduced and went straight into their first dance followed by parent dances before we heard Yolanda’s welcome speech. Next, it was time to open the buffet full of yummy heavy hors d'oeuvres made by the amazing Cantrell Occasions. Guests loved the yummy finger foods like sliders, tacos, and mac and cheese bites!

Once everyone was through the buffet, we cut the beautiful cake from Frantastic Cakes before opening the dance floor and having this group get down on the dance floor! For a few hours, everyone danced, drank great drinks made by Tiptop Staffing, and took photos at RobotBooth’s photo booth! When it was time to leave, everyone lined up and gave them a sparkler send-off to remember!

Something Spectacular

The most special thing about Asia & Lamar’s day was how so many members of their family set up and broke down the decor for their wedding and everyone did everything they could to make this day everything these two had imagined it to be! Asia & Lamar are so loved!

Happily Ever After

Working with Asia and Lamar and their families was such a blessing and we are so happy that they found us and trusted us with their day. We wish them every happiness as they begin the journey of marriage and their little family of three gets settled into their new life. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. (& Jamie) Bailey!
