How We Met

Ashley & Joe found us on Instagram and when their inquiry came into the inbox we freaked out! We had been dying to do a wedding at Montaluce for so long because it’s beautiful and we love their wine! We met with them and since we were a good fit, they booked us and we were finally doing a wedding at Montaluce with the most fun couple!

Down to Business

Our meetings took place at our two favorite places - Starbucks and Chick-fil-A! Over good drinks and the best chicken we discussed details and devised a floor plan all while getting to know each other. Ashley & Joe had so many great ideas and special moments they wanted to incorporate into their wedding. At the walkthrough, after walking the grounds, adjusting some seating, and going over plans, we sat down with Ashley & Joe over some great wine and charcuterie to go over the final details. We couldn’t wait for their wedding!

The Big Day

When we arrived on wedding day, we started by checking in on the bride, groom, and their parties at the villas they rented! Bombshell Creations was working on Ashley - getting her wedding day ready - but she took a break for a second to show us all the things we needed to take down to the venue and get set up. Hannah Forsberg, the photographer, had arrived and was taking care of detail shots and getting ready photos. Joe and his guys were just hanging out watching tv and talking. Since everything was handled, we made our way down to Montaluce's main building. Elizabeth and Leigh, the florist, had pulled their truck around and started getting the ceremony space ready. We were busy getting programs ready and working on making sure the reception space was getting complete when Ashley and her girls arrived to the onsite bridal suite and got ready to put on their dresses. Both Hannah & Compass Films were working on capturing the moments while we were upstairs with Elizabeth and Leigh working on the reception space!

When Ashley was in her dress, we did a first look with her dad and she gave both her parents gifts before tucking her away and getting Joe set for their first look! Their reaction to seeing each other was so sweet and we were so happy to see how happy they were together! After some couple’s photos, guests began to arrive so we tucked everyone away. Endless Vibes, the DJ, started playing music, and we let guests find their seats. We were so close to ceremony time, so we lined up the family and wedding party and started the processional! The ceremony was so sweet! We loved hearing their love story and vows. Not too long after, they were announced as husband and wife and guests threw confetti on the newlyweds as they left the ceremony! So fun!

After the ceremony, we did family photos, bridal party photos, and a few more couples photos before Ashley & Joe practiced their first dance in the reception space while Hannah Forsberg got shots of the tables and we put the finishing touches on the space. When we were ready, guests filtered into the dance floor area where we did introductions and watched Ashley & Joe’s choreographed dance. Ashley’s sweet parents did a beautiful toast and guests were invited to find their seats.

Dinner service got started and wine was poured as guests enjoyed their first course. Everything was so delicious and everyone was content! Once everything was brought out, Ashley & Joe did a champagne tower before we heard toasts from just a few of their favorite people. Next, we moved everyone into the dance floor room again for the two final formal things we needed to do for the night - the father/daughter and mother/son dance. Then the floor was open and we danced ALL NIGHT! This crew loved to dance and took full advantage of the great music Endless Vibes was playing! After what felt like too short of time, it was time to line up for the sparkler send-off! We sent Ashley & Joe into married life in the most beautiful way!

Something Spectacular

There were so many special things that went into Ashley & Joe’s day, but the most special thing was how they had their sweet puppy, Penny, be a part of all parts of their day. She got to do a first look with her mom, walk down the aisle, and take family photos with her mom and dad! Such a sweet part of the day!

Happily Ever After

Working with Ashley & Joe was such a bright spot for us! We love their love! Their wedding day was so much fun and so beautiful! We know that they will continue to be the fun-loving couple we love and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for them! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Seawright!
